Call for designing the STOA169 polling column!

In STOA169 we reserved a column to be created from the joint creativity of our community.
We have already discussed several options: Children – either from kindergarten, or some older kids who are in the Pollinger elementary school – could be designing the appearance of the column, but we have rejected this again…
Or the local stonemason and some local artists could design the column together …
There is also an idea to attach a quote on democracy in Germany by the writer and Nobel Prize winner Thomas Mann to the column. – This quote should – in my opinion – definitely ornament a tuff stone column …
But so that all pollingers have the chance to participate, now my/our request: think about a polling column to be designed, make suggestions, discuss the topic with your friends and neighbors!
It would be important to us to integrate the POLLING column already in the first construction phase, i.e. also this column should be completed by April/May 2020. Therefore the deadline for the proposals is 23 February 2020! The jury of the STOA169 Foundation will finally decide on the winning design.
