The class Sculpture and Space / Hans Schabus is interested in the circumstance of sculpture, its surroundings, its materials, its structure, its form and the connections that arise in this in-between. We understand sculpture as a tool to negotiate society and vice versa. Sculpture provokes present perception and grasping. The consequences of these processes want to be questioned again and again. The sculpture burns, the space extinguishes.
