“‘After Electricity’ is a bit autobiographic. My father was working as an electrician, and his dream was that I would also become one. He used to take me with him to help him at work. I hated it and always said I wanted to be an artist. And I did indeed become one, but my father said that his electrical work with all its tubes and cables looked good enough to be considered art. I got that from him. Otherwise for me it is great to have a column that refers back to a building that people are going to live in.”
