6 December 2019 – Brigitte Kowanz’s concept is to add a second column with a diameter of 8.5 cm to the given column. Both columns are informed and rhythmicised by Morse codes. The individual Morse codes are distributed on the two columns. The first column writes “Trans”, the second “Mission” – in their discursive interrelation they result in the term “Transmission”.
The Morse code consists of short and long intervals from which any information can be formed and transmitted over long distances at the speed of light. This is the basis for the discussion of the term “transmission”.
