ROMAN SIGNER in Polling
The Swiss artist Roman Signer brought his column to Polling. Signer, who was awarded the title “Zeitschmied” („smith of time“), brought a very exciting object that we are all looking forward to. Only this much can be revealed now: With the varied combination of three-dimensional objects, live action, still photography and film documentation, Signer’s time sculptures frame episodes that deal with the containment and release of energy, always with sophistication – often with captivating, epigrammatic speed and irresistible humour.
