lives and works in Nahoe, Hiva‘oa, French Polynesia

Since his childhood, inspired by his grandfather, sculptor from Puama‘u, Maheatete Teu‘utapu wanted to become a sculptor. Through his works he expresses himself as one of the successors of his ancestors, the legendary sculptors of Puama‘u, creators of Taka‘i‘i, the biggest and most famous Tiki of Polynesia.
