NOH Suntags Arbeiten entstehen in Nord- und S\u00fcdkorea. Ausgehend von seiner Ausbildung in Fotografie, Politikwissenschaften und Malerei, dokumentiert Noh Suntag die Versch\u00e4rfung von politischen Ideologien beider Staaten, soziale Ambivalenzen, gesellschaftspolitische Ausnahmesituationen und milit\u00e4rische Konfliktsituationen im modernen Korea.
Seine Arbeiten wurden u.a. im W\u00fcrttembergischen Kunstverein (Stuttgart),im Palau de La Virreina (Barcelona) und im Total Museum of Contemporary Art (Seoul) gezeigt und sind in Sammlungen wie dem National Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, dem Seoul Museum of Art, dem Daelim Contemporary Art Museum The Museum of Photography Seoul; dem Coreana Museum of Art\u00a0 dem Peace Museum, Korea der May 18 Memorial Foundation der Art Bank Korea und der F.C. Gundlach Collection, Deutschland vertreten. 2012 erhielt er den Dong Gang Photography Award.\u00a0

\u201eSince my school days, I have been sick of hearing about the North Korean Evil, so I have been curious to know who they are. As time went by and I grew older, I became more curious about knowing our true self, constantly trying to destroy the North Korean Evil. If so, is South Korean the angel of justice? I have been collecting the scenery of function and malfunction derived from the division of the Korean peninsula. I have been captured it with my camera and picked it up with my hands, and yet, I ended up thinking for a long time, wondering the meaning of what I have been gathered.<\/em>\u201c (Noh Suntag)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
